Discover McGill’s Summer Short Programs
Want to learn a new skill or brush up on a popular topic? Each summer, the McGill School of Continuing Studies offers Short Programs that bring students from around the world to learn about topics such as Big Data, Business Analytics, Communications, Machine Learning, and more. Each program contains two non-credit courses (with transcript) and totals 60 contact hours. Students obtain a Record of Study and an Attestation of Completion from McGill University upon completion of their program.
The Summer 2022 session will run from July 18 - August 12, 2022 remotely. Students can take advantage of an Early-Bird discount if they register before May 16, 2022.

Virtual Tours of
Montreal
The summer session will include weekly virtual tours of the city, hosted by a certified guide in Montreal. Students will discover tourist attractions, historical sites and colorful neighborhoods. Examples include:
- Old Montreal
- Golden Square Mile
- Montreal’s Entertainment District
- Street Art in the Plateau
- Red light and China town
- Little Italy and Jean Talon Market
- Quartiers du Canal and Atwater Market
- Mount Royal Park

Admission
Requirements
- Applicants must be currently enrolled in, or possess, a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- English proficiency requirement for these short programs is TOEFL iBT 79, IELTS 6.0, Duolingo 105, CEFR B2, CET-4 500 / CET-6 470, or equivalent.
NOTE: Applicants interested in the “Introduction to Big Data”, “Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence” and “Machine Learning” short programs must meet specific admission requirements and pre-requisites.
